The time has come to model some 3D palms. When I was scanning the plants in the studio we bought the washingtonia filifera house plant aka California fan palm that is known by its strings. The leaves were modeled with my double-sided geometry method to expose a beautiful SSS that is pouring from one crevice to another. I made the strings by cutting them from atlases with stringed leaves (For modeling I made leaf atlases with strings cutted off) and attached them with geometry nodes.
Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did, and if you want those 3D models you can get them here: https://www.textures.com/library
